Relatude is a norwegian developed CMS and E-commerce solution that has been built over the last 12 years. We have developed advanced functionality without losing focus on user interface. Relatude is designet to give web editors and content producers an easy and effective way to manage their web page. 

Relatude is a complete development platform where customers and partners can develop advanced solutions with forms, integrations, logins and other advanced functionality. Relatude is a ASP.NET plattform whitch makes building websites and applications faster and more efficient than a website build with PHP, for example. ASP.NET applications are compiled, which means the code is translated into object code, which is then executed. This compilation process takes a small amount of time, but happens only once. After compilation, the code can be executed over and over by the .Net platform very quickly.

Relatude grew up in Norway, a small country of 5 million people. This means there are too few people to target niches. This means that Relatude was designed to scale. It scales in terms of performance and complexity.

Universal design

In Norway, we want a society where everyone can participate. Therefore, universal design of ICT is a legal requirement for both public and private sector. Relatude is adaptable and supports all the legal requirements for universal design.

Headless before it was coined

With the introduction of our OData endpoints in 2011, Relatude fully supported what has become known as headless CMS architecture. It means that you edit and manage the content in the CMS, and expose the content in a content API. Any frontend (website, app, IoT device etc) can fetch the content it needs when it needs it.

We have always been a firm believer in the concepts behind headless. Relatude can be seen as a content API with a powerful content editing interface. We've never had any proprietary template solutions unlike many of our competitors. The reason is that we think such solutions will always lag behind the latest frontend technologies. 

OData

There are several important benefits of using  an OData headless API over custom Rest APIs. The most important is that OData is an Oasis standard, Having a standardised API is a huge benefit: There is a huge number of tutorials for developers to learn from, and OData is supported in most programming languages. Additionally, many 3rd party software solutions supports importing content from OData APIs. For example a lot of BI solitions like Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI and others have built-in OData support.

Relatude CMS Cloud

The service includes license and hosting in one unified service for one price. The price is monthly, but the service is invoiced for one year at a time, for the following year. The first year, the remainder of the year is invoiced, and from January, the full year is invoiced.

Example: If you buy a subscription to Relatude CMS Cloud in August, you are billed for August, September, October, November and December at the time of purchase.
